Haras de Mai is an equestrian center in Nérigean, in the Entre-deux-Mers region near Bordeaux and Libourne. It combines a livery yard for horse owners with a riding school for riders seeking instruction and access to trained school horses. Set in a quiet, natural setting, the facility emphasizes the well-being of horses and riders and offers modern, purpose-built amenities.
Facilities include an illuminated 75-by-42-metre outdoor arena, a covered 40-by-20-metre arena with mirrors, a secure lunge ring, and more than 2.5 kilometres of riding tracks through nearby vineyards and woodland. Horse-care areas feature secure grooming bays, showers, and a solarium. The site also provides paddocks, stabling, tack rooms with individual lockers, a clubhouse with accessible facilities, parking, and van amenities. Additional equipment includes a hay purifier for sensitive horses, video surveillance, and a large-capacity washing machine for rugs and other textiles. Since 2017, Haras de Mai has developed and upgraded its facilities for both horse owners and riders.
