Civil Aviation Department Haryana

The Civil Aviation Department, Government of Haryana, is a state government department established on 1 November 1966 following the reorganisation of the state. Its original purpose included encouraging aviation and training pilots, with aviation training centres at Hisar and Karnal. Today, the department oversees aviation-related facilities and activities in Haryana, including airports and airstrips, and shares information about its organisation, plans, budgets, policies and achievements.

The department’s public services include flight information and ticket booking for routes serving Hisar. The website lists services between Hisar and Jaipur, Chandigarh and Ayodhya, alongside updates on flight operations and the licensing of Hisar Airport. It also publishes tariff information and invites applications relating to commercial space, built-up hangars and office accommodation at the airport and other airstrips. Additional resources include the Haryana Institute of Civil Aviation prospectus, fee details, application forms, annual reports, tenders and right-to-information disclosures. Through these activities, the department supports aviation training, airport operations and the development and administration of civil aviation facilities across Haryana.
