Harbor-Bid

Harbor-Bid is a marine-focused marketplace for buying, selling, and donating boats and related assets. Its platform brings together marine and salvage auctions, listings from private boat owners, and opportunities for approved marine professionals to sell. Buyers can explore powerboats, sailboats, personal watercraft, trailers, and marine accessories, with listings presenting details such as photos, title, condition, and pickup terms.

Private sellers can choose an auction, a Buy It Now listing, or both. During the launch pilot, private listings are free and carry no seller commission; buyers pay a 7.5% premium and a $99 document fee. Harbor-Bid reviews identity, ownership, and administrative information before listings go live, and offers free listing assistance through a tool that helps draft descriptions and suggest photo sequences. Buyers create an account, authorize $50 before bidding, and pay through Harbor-Bid, with seller payouts held until release requirements are met.

For donations, Captain’s Charity Boats handles private boat inquiries through a separate intake process.
