Harbor Yacht Clubs is a sailing club, sailing school, and boat charter provider based at Harbor Island Yacht Club in San Diego, California. For more than 35 years, it has served sailors at different experience levels, offering access to a fleet of over 60 sailboats from manufacturers including Hunter, Beneteau, Catalina, and Lagoon.

Its services include sailboat rentals, club memberships with discounted rental and class rates, private and group lessons, and skippered or bareboat charters. Sailing instruction follows the US SAILING Keelboat Certification System, with courses ranging from beginner Basic Keelboat through intermediate Basic Cruising and advanced Bareboat Cruising. The school also offers multi-day liveaboard learning vacations.

For larger groups and longer outings, Harbor Yacht Clubs features the Lagoon 380 catamaran “In the Shelter,” available for San Diego day sailing and weekend excursions to Catalina Island. Bareboat charters are open to the public and club members following a qualification process. The company also provides catamaran rentals and instruction, with certification and charter inquiries handled through its San Diego office.
