Haringvlietwedstrijden

Stichting Haringvlietwedstrijden is a Dutch foundation dedicated to organizing and promoting sailing competitions in and around the Haringvliet. Its website acts as a central information point for sailors, offering event schedules, registration links, race regulations, class and handicap information, and contact details for competition committees. The events are organized in collaboration with local water sports associations, including WSV Numansgors, WSV Willemstad, WSV Hellevoetsluis, and WSV Het Bommelse Gors.

The calendar includes a varied program for participating crews: Avondwedstrijden Oost on the Hollandsch Diep, Avondwedstrijden West and the Ronde Tiengemeten on the Haringvliet, the Midzomernachtrace, the Lichtplatform Goeree Race, and the Mosselraces. By bringing these competitions together and sharing practical information, the foundation helps sailors discover events, understand requirements, and register to take part. Its website also provides general and event-specific racing rules, links, and contact information, supporting an organized experience for participants in the region’s sailing events.
