About Hariri Foundation
Hariri Foundation is a renowned non-governmental organization committed to investing in people and shaping Lebanon's future. Established in February 1979, their mission is to rehabilitate scientific, educational, and cultural contexts in Saida, Lebanon. Guided by principles of national harmony and coexistence, they strive to build a capable and impartial nation.
Hariri Foundation offers a range of programs and initiatives focused on various sectors. Their Development Portfolio includes programs in education and training, public health, community support, urban development, heritage and tourism, and environment and agriculture. Additionally, their State-Building Portfolio comprises the National State Academy, National Initiative for the Centennial of Great Lebanon, and research and training on preventing violent extremism.
They also foster active citizenship through their Promoting Active Citizenship Program and hold the Al Taef Forum. Furthermore, the foundation operates several centers, including Khan El Franj, RHHS (Rafic Hariri High School), HBS (Hajj Bahaa Hariri School), OLA (Outreach & Leadership Academy), and Anamilouna - Women Empowerment Center.
