Harjulan Setlementti toimii paikallisesti Lahdessa. Yhdistys on vuonna 1941 Lahteen perustettu järjestö ja Suomen Setlementtiliito ry:n jäsen. Setlementtityössä, kuten Harjulassakin, on tavoitteena palvella myös yhteisöllisesti heikommassa asemassa olevia henkilöitä. Harjulan Setlementti ry on paikallisesti suuri järjestö ja työllistää vakituisesti noin 50 henkilöä. Määräaikaisten työsuhteiden kanssa henkilömäärä nousee noin 200 henkilöön. Harjulan Setlementin palveluita ovat lasten päivähoito ja leiritoiminta, kansalaisopistotoiminta, ravitsemuspalvelut, kokous- ja juhlapalvelut, tyky-toiminta Tilaa uutiskirjesekä Harjula-Mainoksen ulkomainospaikkojen vuokraus. Lisäksi Harjulassa on OmaKamu-toimintaa, Hämeen rikosten ja riitojen sovittelutoiminta, kiusaamisasioiden tuki- ja neuvontakeskus Valopilkku sekä Kierrätyskeskus Patina. Harjulasta voi vuokrata tiloja kokous- ja juhlakäyttöön sekä liikuntatiloja (kuntosali, uima-allas, liikuntasali). Harjulassa on myös vaihtuvia projekteja mm. työttömille ja maahanmuuttajille.

About Harjulan Setlementti ry
