Harley's Haven Dog Rescue is a dedicated non-profit organization based in the greater Philadelphia area, committed to rescuing dogs of all breeds and ages. Founded in 2011 by veterinarian Dr. Beth Mehaffey, the rescue was inspired by her own experience with Harley, a puppy she saved from an abusive situation. This transformative journey ignited her passion for veterinary medicine and animal rescue, leading to the establishment of a thriving community that now includes over 50 volunteers and many foster homes.

The organization operates on a foster-based model, providing shelter and care for dogs in need until they find their forever homes. In addition to adoption services, Harley's Haven offers various resources for potential adopters and emphasizes the importance of community involvement through volunteering and donations. Their motto, "Rescue today to change tomorrow," reflects their mission to give every dog a second chance at life, ensuring that each rescued pup can experience the love and security they deserve. Join Harley's Haven in making a difference—foster, volunteer, or adopt today!
