Harmony Horses

Harmony Horses Equine Therapy is an animal-assisted therapy service based in Tullera, near Lismore in New South Wales’ Northern Rivers. It offers Equine Assisted Therapy and Equine Facilitated Learning, using guided, ground-based activities to help participants build relationships with horses in a relaxed, supportive setting. Sessions focus on caring for and communicating with horses rather than riding, and are adapted to individual needs and goals.

The service aims to support confidence, self-esteem, wellbeing, communication, independence and quality of life. Developing trust and respecting boundaries with a horse can also help participants explore gentle relationships and community participation. Harmony Horses welcomes people of all ages, including those experiencing anxiety, shyness, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delay, disability, some mental health conditions or depression. Participants with NDIS support plans are welcome.

Sessions take place on a farm at 157 Borton Road, Tullera, about 10 minutes from Lismore CBD, with on-site parking. Pricing is based on an hourly rate and may vary according to individual needs.
