Harpenden Hopper is a volunteer-run community minibus service serving Harpenden, Hertfordshire, in the United Kingdom. Operated by Harpenden Connect Limited, a registered charity, it provides a friendly local transport option for people travelling around town. Its HH1 service runs Monday to Friday in the morning and afternoon, using a “hail and ride” approach that allows passengers to board anywhere along the route. The service is open to everyone, offering residents a convenient way to get around locally.

Adult fares are £2 and children’s fares are £1; babies travel free. Each fare includes a return journey on the same day, and concessionary tickets, including pensioners’ bus passes, are accepted. Harpenden Hopper provides route and timetable information, passenger support, and updates about service changes. Passengers can contact the team by phone or email, share feedback, and make donations to support the service. Its volunteer-led operation and community fundraising help sustain local minibus travel, including funding for vehicle replacement.
