About Harpswell Foundation
Harpswell Foundation is dedicated to empowering women and promoting their leadership in Southeast Asia. At the core of their mission is the belief that women can drive social and economic progress. They achieve this by providing education, training, and creating a network of the next generation of women leaders.
Their flagship program, Cambodian Women's Leadership, operates two residential leadership centers in Phnom Penh, where young women can live while attending university. In addition, Harpswell organizes the ASEAN Summit, a two-week leadership training summit in Penang, Malaysia, bringing together accomplished young women from the ten ASEAN countries and Nepal. Harpswell's impact is evident in their impressive statistics.
100% of women in their Cambodian Higher Education program graduate from university, with over 42% completing graduate degrees. The organization also fosters lifelong connections, with 98% of ASEAN Summit participants acknowledging the value of their peer and mentor network. By joining Harpswell, women gain access to a community that supports and uplifts each other, fostering academic pursuits and making a positive impact in their communities.
The foundation is building a brighter future through their alumnae, who have founded and are thriving in various private companies, NGOs, and social enterprises. Stay connected with Harpswell Foundation by signing up for their mailing list and be a part of their sisterhood for change
