About Hukkinen Studio
Hukkinen Studio is a brand that showcases the artistic talent of Harry Matti Hukkinen. With a rich background in multimedia art, Hukkinen's creations span across various mediums including sculpture, painting, photography, and performance art. Originally from Finland, Hukkinen emigrated to the United States at a young age and has since gained recognition for his innovative techniques.
Combining Polaroid photo transfer methods with cutting-edge pigmented ink jet printing technology, Hukkinen's early work caught the attention of art enthusiasts worldwide. His pieces have been displayed in numerous national and international juried art shows, earning him several prestigious awards. Hukkinen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey, as well as a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
His talent has taken him around the globe, with his Styrofoam Series photography featured in the 29th Annual Exhibition of the Emirates Fine Arts Society in Sharjah, UAE. Today, Hukkinen continues to inspire through his art while also teaching K-12 Art in Wilder, Idaho. His unique and thought-provoking pieces can be found in private collections worldwide
