HARSTAD HAVFISKEKLUBB

Harstad Havfiskeklubb is a sea-fishing club based in Harstad, Norway, bringing together anglers for organized fishing trips and competitions. The club shares news, event reports, schedules and results, helping members and visitors follow its activities throughout the year. Its 2022 calendar included six planned club trips, with outings in Lofoten and Harstad, as well as the Harstad Festival on 12 August.

The festival welcomed 32 participants from Harstad and other fishing clubs, including groups from Trondheim, Sarpsborg, Oslo, Botn, Nordvegen and Sørøya. Participants were divided among women’s, men’s and senior classes. The club arranged seven boats, each carrying four to five anglers, for a day that included travel to the fishing grounds and five hours of effective fishing. Bait and fishing equipment were also available for sale at the pier through Gapahuken, operated by Jan Roger Lunde.

Harstad Havfiskeklubb provides information for prospective members and accepts support through Norway’s Grasrotandelen lottery contribution scheme. The club can be contacted by email or phone and maintains a Facebook presence.
