VZW Hartekamp

Hartekamp is an organisation based in Merelbeke, Belgium, that creates camps and activities for children with physical, mental or social disabilities. Its programmes are designed for children who need medical care in their daily lives, offering opportunities to enjoy time away, make friends and take part in shared experiences. Hartekamp organises an annual summer camp, a weekend programme and outings throughout the year. The organisation’s approach puts enjoyment and participation first: children can have fun with peers, discover new possibilities and build memories without their disability defining the experience.

Alongside its camps, Hartekamp arranges special activities, including a planned group visit to Plopsaland. Families can find information about the organisation, its team, activities and frequently asked questions through its website. Hartekamp also invites people to become members or volunteers and welcomes support through donations, fundraising initiatives and online shopping partnerships that generate contributions at no extra cost to shoppers. Through these programmes and community efforts, Hartekamp works to make enjoyable holidays and activities accessible to children who need additional care.
