Harthaus-Bicycle

Harthaus-Bicycle is an e-bike and custom bicycle workshop in Germering, Germany, specializing in conversions, tailored builds and personal service. The business upgrades many types of bicycles—including road, mountain, trekking, beach cruiser and children’s bikes—to electric power, with options for different battery sizes and front-, mid- or rear-mounted motors. Customers can work with the team to create a pedelec, e-bike or custom model suited to their preferences, from a sporty electric bicycle to a cafe racer-inspired design.

Custom bikes are built using hand-welded frames from Ruff Cycles, with frame choices and customer-requested modifications available. Harthaus-Bicycle also makes fitted metal battery boxes and offers custom paint or powder-coating. Components and accessories include Magura disc brakes, wheels and tires in various sizes, saddles, handlebars, leather side bags, lights, gear systems and rear lights. The business also sells e-bikes from Ruff Cycles and Power Bikes. Customers can arrange a consultation and an informal test ride by phone or email, and the workshop provides technical guidance throughout the process.
