HartSong Ranch

HartSong Ranch Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer nonprofit sanctuary dedicated to giving vulnerable animals safety, care, and a lasting home. Its peaceful grounds are home to more than 60 horses and farm animals, many of whom have experienced neglect, abuse, or have special needs. The sanctuary provides daily care, including food, shelter, medical attention, and farrier services.

Through The UnderDOG Railroad, HartSong rescues dogs from high-kill shelters, especially those who are overlooked because of age, disability, fear, or temperament evaluations. Since the program began in 2012, nearly 200 dogs have been saved and placed in loving homes. Ethel’s Mission, launched in 2019, arranges foster-hospice care for senior dogs, with HartSong covering their needs and veterinary expenses. The organization also offers injured waterfowl a safe place to recover before returning to the wild when possible.

Visitors can schedule sanctuary tours or field trips. Supporters can donate, volunteer, foster dogs, attend events, or learn about adoptable animals. HartSong states that donations support animal care and future rescue efforts.
