Harvester is an open-source hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) brand that offers a modern solution for cloud-native environments. It is designed for users seeking a flexible and affordable HCI solution for their bare metal servers. Harvester utilizes enterprise-grade open source technologies like Kubernetes, KubeVirt, and Longhorn to provide a reliable and efficient infrastructure.

One of the standout features of Harvester is its use of proven and mature open source software components, enabling it to build virtualization without relying on proprietary kernels. This transparency not only ensures a stable and secure environment but also eliminates the need for costly license fees associated with other HCI solutions. With its foundation based on Linux and kernel-based virtual machines, Harvester allows for a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) while delivering robust performance.

Furthermore, Harvester is future-proof as it embraces cloud-native components, making it an ideal choice for the evolving infrastructure industry. It seamlessly integrates with containers, edge computing, and multi-cloud software engineering, ensuring that your infrastructure remains adaptable and prepared for future advancements.
