Harwich Runners

Harwich Runners is a vibrant running club founded in 1982 by British international decathlete Roy Snow. Recognized as "Probably the best little running club in the world," Harwich Runners welcomes members of all skill levels—from beginners to seasoned athletes competing on regional and national stages. With a membership base exceeding 150 individuals, the club creates an inclusive and encouraging environment, fostering camaraderie among veterans, adults, ladies, and juniors.

Training sessions are held every Tuesday at the Harwich & Dovercourt Rugby Club, offering two schedules at 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM. Newcomers can enjoy up to three trial sessions before committing to membership, with affordable fees of £20 for seniors and £12 for juniors, which includes benefits such as reduced race entry costs, access to ARC-affiliated races, and discounts at local sports shops.

Beyond running, the club emphasizes social connections and community support, ensuring that members both thrive in their athletic goals and enjoy a friendly environment.
