About Hashtag Press
Hashtag Press is an award-winning and diverse indie publishing house that aims to promote new voices in the literary world. Founded in 2016, their first book was published in 2017, and since then, they have become known for publishing bestselling and award-winning books. The company was created by Abiola, a bestselling children's and young adult author, and Helen, an award-winning book PR professional.
Hashtag Press not only focuses on publishing great books but also seeks out fantastic and talented authors who are passionate about bringing diverse voices into the industry. In line with their commitment to giving back, they donate hundreds of free books to schools and children's hospitals through their awards, The Diverse Book Awards. Despite being a small publishing house, they maintain a selective approach when reviewing submissions.
Hashtag Press has received recognition for their innovative approach and was awarded Best Innovative Publishing House in 2023.
