HATS Group

HATS Group is a UK passenger transport provider serving public-sector organisations, healthcare providers and private clients. It delivers patient and mental health transport, home-to-school journeys for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), private hire, repatriation and event medical services. The group also offers training through the HATS Training Academy.

With more than 800 vehicles, HATS operates across London, the Home Counties and North West England, supporting NHS trusts, clinical commissioning groups, local authorities and independent medical organisations. It serves 28 of London’s 32 boroughs and reports providing over 2 million passenger movements each year. Its services are designed to help passengers travel safely, reliably and with appropriate care, supported by trained staff and operational teams. HATS says its drivers and vehicles are registered with Transport for London and that drivers hold enhanced DBS checks. The group also highlights safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion as part of its commitments. Its 2020 Care Quality Commission inspection rated the organisation “Good” overall and “Outstanding” for responsiveness.
