Hauhon Hevosaktiivit

Hauhon Hevosaktiivit ry (HHA) is a Finnish association dedicated to supporting and promoting horse activities in the Hauho area. Founded in 2012, it continues a local tradition whose roots reach back to the Hauhon Hevosjalostusyhdistys, established in 1937. HHA’s aims encompass horse breeding and improvement, riding, trotting and other forms of equestrian recreation. It is a member association of Hämeen Hevosjalostusliitto ry.

To encourage and support participation in horse activities, HHA arranges training sessions, excursions, exhibitions, guidance and related events. The association also seeks to make use of local equine businesses and can connect their services and activities with events. HHA does not own horses or ponies; its role is to bring people and local horse-related initiatives together.

Earlier, the predecessor association focused strongly on breeding, including arranging access to a Finnish studbook stallion, and organised exhibitions, competitions and courses. Today, HHA works to advance equestrian life in Hauho while honouring this history. The association shares updates through Facebook and Instagram.
