Haustierfarm Leipzig

Haustierfarm Leipzig is a family-friendly animal farm in the southern part of Leipzig, located within the Wildpark Leipzig. Its welcoming, nature-focused setting gives visitors the chance to meet and gently interact with around 150 domestic animals from different countries, including chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, donkeys, camels and other farm animals. The animals have space to roam and are cared for by trained animal keepers.

A visit can include animal encounters and the distinctive experience of camel or pony riding. The farm also hosts children’s birthday celebrations, offering opportunities for young guests to explore, learn and spend time with the animals. Kindergartens and primary school classes can take part in tailored educational sessions about pets, farm animals and their needs, with content adapted to their wishes.

Designed especially for families with young children, the farm provides a relaxed alternative to crowded attractions and includes a playground. Visitors can check admission prices and opening hours, plan their journey, and may qualify for discounts through the Leipzig Pass or Ferienpass.
