Haut-Brion

Château Haut-Brion is a historic wine estate in Pessac, near Bordeaux, within the Pessac-Léognan appellation in the Graves wine region. Its vineyards trace their origins to the first century AD, and in 1521 the estate became the first Bordeaux property to identify its wine by the name of its terroir. It is also the only estate outside the Médoc included among the Premier Grand Cru Classé properties in the 1855 classification.
