Hautakivikaiverrus Mattila

Hautakivikaiverrus Mattila is a family-owned business based in Seinäjoki, serving customers throughout South Ostrobothnia, Finland. Now in its third generation, the company provides professional engraving and restoration services for gravestones, helping families preserve the appearance and dignity of memorials in honour of loved ones.

Its services include engraving new names, dates, inscriptions, verses and symbols, as well as adding text to existing stones. The company can help customers plan wording to suit their wishes, and work is often carried out directly at the cemetery so the gravestone does not need to be moved. Mattila also cleans and restores gravestones, removes moss, carries out minor surface repairs and refreshes faded engravings. Silvering and gilding are available for both new and existing lettering.

Pricing is based on the scope of work and where it is performed, and customers can request an estimate before work begins. The company also offers assessments and guidance on suitable restoration options, providing flexible service across its regional area.
