Huntington Addiction Wellness Center (HAWC) is a West Virginia addiction treatment provider focused on compassionate, structured care and lasting recovery. Founded in 2020 by people with firsthand experience of recovery programs, HAWC combines clinical treatment with accountability, community support, and practical help rebuilding everyday life. Its three-phase program begins with inpatient treatment, including assessment, medical evaluation, doctor visits, and clinical therapy.

Clients can then move into recovery housing, where they receive continued support, develop life and budgeting skills, and get help securing employment before leaving inpatient care. Graduate housing and outpatient services provide a further step toward independence, with therapy, accountability, and supportive, affordable living. HAWC treats substance use disorders involving methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, opioids, alcohol, and benzodiazepines.

Medical detox for alcohol or benzodiazepines is not provided on site; the team can help coordinate appropriate care before admission. The center serves people primarily in West Virginia and nearby areas, accepts several insurance plans, and offers structured facilities with recreational and vocational spaces
