HawkCount

HawkCount is an initiative by the Hawk Migration Association of North America (HMANA) dedicated to studying and promoting the understanding of raptor migration across North America. This comprehensive platform offers access to a wealth of data, featuring profiles for over 300 hawkwatch sites, complete with maps and detailed statistics. Users can easily find hawkwatch locations by name or region, making it a valuable resource for both enthusiasts and researchers.

In addition to providing crucial insights into raptor populations through their Raptor Migration Database, HawkCount actively engages the community by sharing news and facilitating events. Notably, they are preparing to celebrate HMANA's 50th Anniversary Conference in Duluth, MN, from November 7-10, 2024, inviting participants to connect and contribute to the ongoing conversation about raptor conservation. HawkCount encourages public support through donations and sponsorships, making it an essential hub for those passionate about avian migration and conservation efforts.
