Hayalgücü Tasarım Ltd. is a leading architectural firm established in 1993 as Atölye - M, which later evolved into its current profile in 2003. Founded by Ilhan Kesmez and Ayça Başal Kesmez, both graduates of Ankara Gazi University's Architecture Department, our designs embody innovation and flexibility by balancing functionality, economy, technology, and the human dimension.

Despite being initiated by two young architects, our core objective is to be a pioneering architectural office with both short-term and long-term goals. To achieve this, we have focused on two key areas: architectural design competitions to enhance and consolidate our design philosophy, and government and public works to develop our professional management skills and capacity in design and construction. Our expertise is exemplified by our participation in national and international architectural project competitions for public buildings, specifically healthcare facilities.

Our commitment to inspiring building design and meticulous examination of each architectural sphere has positioned us as a leading competitor in the industry. Consequently, in 2000, Hayalgücü Tasarım was commissioned by the Turkish Ministry of Justice to design the first and only Ankara Women's Prison Complex. The need for exceptional spatial solutions to meet the unique requirements of such a function/building complex was our primary motivation.

The resulting structure is an innovative amalgamation of functionality and spatial experience for users of all kinds. Collaborating with Turkey's most talented and experienced professionals, our company has forged partnerships owing to its broad perspective and adaptable structure. With intensive experience in architectural project development, our company has acquired a specific expertise in building design and construction in national and international standards.

This expertise has earned a national reputation, leading us to undertake multiple projects for institutions such as the Republic of Turkey's Housing Development Administration (TOKI), Manas University in Kyrgyzstan, I. C. -A-Turkey, Bayindir Hospital, SML Construction, and Çukurova Construction.

The need for mobility and flexibility for a diverse project portfolio at an international scale is met either by local offices operated by Hayalgücü experts or by local partners. Thanks to this international experience, Hayalgücü Tasarım has gained a command over various authorities' standards and regulations.
