Hayim (“Life”) Association was established in 1984 by parents of children with cancer in order to raise funds for treatment. As of 2008 The association’s managing staff is fully volunteered. The association does not pay for a chairman and all members of the board volunteer their time for its mission. The association provides social supporters in the pediatric ontological centers. They accompany the children and families while assisting the social and medical staff.
