Hayreca

Hayreca is a specialist supplier of horse hay from the Black Forest, serving horse owners who value natural feed and careful harvesting. Operated by Valentin Fetscher, the brand sources its hay exclusively from traditional Black Forest meadows, where a diverse range of grasses and herbs has grown for generations. Its fields lie within the Black Forest Central/North Nature Park at elevations of 750 to 950 metres. The region’s varied meadow life, cool and humid climate, and nutrient-supporting limestone-rich loess soils help shape the hay’s natural character and aromatic taste.

Hayreca focuses on producing high-quality hay for horses, with an emphasis on biodiversity and attentive harvesting and processing. Its product range also features straw and green oats, as well as hay containers. The company presents its work as rooted in the natural landscape and conditions of the Black Forest, offering horse owners feed from a distinct local source. Customers can contact Hayreca directly by phone or email for enquiries about its products and services.
