H & B Greenhouse & Nursery is a locally owned garden center in Highgate Center, Vermont, serving customers in Swanton, St. Albans, northern Vermont, and New York. Since opening in 1994 with a single 24-by-60-foot greenhouse, the business has focused on growing high-quality plants for the local community. It has since expanded, although the available information does not detail the full range of its growing operations or inventory.
Customers can explore the nursery’s plants and garden-center offerings, purchase gift cards, and find information about seasonal events. The business also provides details about employment and donation requests, along with store hours and directions. Its “Buy your plants where they’re grown” message highlights its greenhouse-growing roots and local focus.
Located at 1213 Highgate Road, H & B has served the area for more than 30 years. As a seasonal business, its hours may change with weather conditions, and it schedules a winterizing break. Visitors are encouraged to check current hours before making a trip.
