The Highland Biological Recording Group, established in 1986, is dedicated to the study and documentation of the biodiversity in the Highland region. This organization plays a crucial role in promoting biological recording through community involvement and data collection efforts. Their website serves as a key resource for individuals interested in nature conservation, providing a platform for sharing valuable information about local flora and fauna.
Currently, they are undergoing a significant revision of their website to streamline maintenance and improve user experience, although some functionalities may be lost in the process. The team values user feedback and is open to suggestions for reinstating previously available features. Additionally, the site's hosting is managed by Krystal Hosting Ltd., ensuring reliable access to their resources. The Highland Biological Recording Group not only helps raise awareness about the importance of biodiversity but also empowers individuals to contribute to conservation efforts in their local environment.
