Highland Country Club, located in Fort Thomas, KY, has a rich history dating back to the 1890s. Originally known as Inverness Country Club, it was a 9-hole course situated on 25 acres of land. However, due to various issues, a new location was sought, and in 1915, the club was relocated and renamed Highland Country Club.
The club offers a range of amenities for members to enjoy. The centerpiece of the facility is the beautiful clubhouse, designed by renowned local architect Christian Clay Weber. Alongside the clubhouse, you'll find a nine-hole golf course, a baseball field, tennis courts, and bowling lanes.
Highland has a strong tradition of golf excellence, with notable golfers like Johnny Fischer having played on its grounds. The club also hosts the annual Highlander Invitational Tournament in June. In addition to golf, Highland offers various membership options for those looking to take advantage of their amenities.
Members can enjoy a range of dining options, upgraded locker rooms, and access to the Northern Kentucky Golf Hall of Fame, which showcases the club's storied history. For those interested in hosting events or weddings, Highland Country Club provides a picturesque setting and comprehensive event planning services.
