About High Chief Gift Okonu Foundation
High Chief Gift Okonu Foundation (HCGOF) is a registered non-profit organization established in July 2020, rooted in the vision to uplift marginalized communities, particularly focusing on widows in Nigeria's Rivers and Abia States. Inspired by the legacy of late Mrs. Ngozi Okonu, the foundation aims to reduce poverty and enhance livelihoods through targeted initiatives.
HCGOF actively supports over 5,000 widows by providing grants to help establish businesses and offering emotional support to foster resilience. Their core services include scholarships for young people, vocational training programs to equip individuals with practical skills, and medical assistance aimed at the less privileged.

Currently, HCGOF is fundraising to build a care facility in Ogbakiri, Rivers State, which will provide critical support for those in need. By advocating for social change, HCGOF seeks to create a sustainable future for its beneficiaries and transform lives across communities.
