The Highland Children's Trust is a charitable trust dedicated to supporting the educational needs of young people in the Highlands of Scotland. We provide assistance to students, schoolchildren, and families to help cover the costs of education. Our services include grants for school trips, educational expenses, holidays, and support for college or university students. Despite challenges posed by Covid-19, we continue to strive to make a positive impact in our community.
Our governance structure consists of a dedicated team of 5 Governors, including members with extensive experience in finance, law, and management. The day-to-day operations are managed by our administrator, Alison Harbison, with oversight from our Secretary and Treasurer, Eunice McAdam. We operate within the guidelines of our Trust Deed and hold regular meetings to review applications and allocate funds accordingly.
