Haus der Altenpflege Lörrach is a nonprofit residential care home operated by Evangelische Stadtmission Freiburg e. V., a member of Diakonisches Werk Baden. Guided by Christian values, the home aims to provide older adults with qualified, respectful care in a safe and welcoming environment, while supporting residents’ independence, abilities and personal connections.

Its residential services include individualized, around-the-clock nursing care and support in 66 single rooms and four double rooms. Residents can take part in a varied weekly programme featuring physical activities, crafts, singing, memory exercises, games and devotional gatherings, with staff and volunteers offering assistance as needed. Additional activities are available for residents with significantly limited everyday skills.

The home also works with local schools and a kindergarten to encourage contact and mutual understanding between generations. Set in a park with a pond and rose garden, the bright building offers spacious rooms with balconies and convenient access to public transport, the city centre, the main railway station and nearby hospitals
