The Association of People with Disabilities in Al-Ahsa was established on the first of Jumada al-Awwal, 1433 AH as an independent nonprofit organization, officially registered with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. With over 60 dedicated staff members, the association serves more than 3,000 beneficiaries across Al-Ahsa's cities, villages, and townships.

The organization's comprehensive services encompass rehabilitation therapy, university education programs, supply and maintenance of medical and adaptive devices, and vocational training initiatives aimed at employment. They are also expanding specialized centers and projects focused on urban accessibility and the transportation of individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and patients.

Driven by a vision to empower individuals with disabilities and their families, the association adheres to core values of quality, safety, accessibility, professionalism, initiative, and transparency. They actively engage in community awareness to promote inclusivity and work towards enhancing support services within the region.
