About HealthArchive
HealthArchive.ca is an independent, volunteer-led project that preserves time-stamped snapshots of selected Canadian public health web pages. It helps users find, review, cite, and compare information as it appeared at a particular point in time, even after the original pages have changed or disappeared. The archive focuses on Canadian public health content and currently includes sources such as the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Health Canada, and the Public Health Agency of Canada.
Users can search archived pages by keyword, source, or date range, view preserved versions, compare changes between captures, and access permanent links for citation. The service is designed for clinicians, public health practitioners, researchers, data journalists, and members of the public who need to understand how published health information has changed.
HealthArchive.ca is not a government website and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency. Its coverage and features are still in development, and archived material may be incomplete, outdated, or superseded.
