HealthCare Access Maryland

HealthCare Access Maryland (HCAM) connects Maryland residents with health insurance, health care, and community resources. With more than 25 years of experience in insurance enrollment and care coordination, the organization works with public- and private-sector partners to support more than 60,000 Marylanders each year. Its services help individuals access affordable coverage, find appropriate care, and address barriers to health and wellness.

HCAM’s programs include health insurance enrollment, Medicaid eligibility assistance, and support for returning citizens. Its care coordination services include administrative care coordination and ombudsman support, maternal health home visiting, safe sleep education, recovery care, and assistance for people with complex care and social needs. The organization also offers community connections, a diabetes initiative, and the MATCH program for children in foster care.

HCAM serves communities across Maryland through a coordinated model that connects clients to referrals, care, education, and other resources. It also works with businesses and community partners, shares health information, and invites the public to support its mission through donations, events, and career opportunities.
