Healthcare Facilities Management 2019 is a UK conference focused on the people, services and infrastructure that keep healthcare facilities operating. Held on 12 June 2019, the event brought together healthcare facilities management professionals to examine sector challenges, share practical insights and discuss best-practice solutions amid changing demands and constrained budgets. Its programme covered topics including food safety, healthcare cleanliness, food waste, occupational health, fire risk, procurement, laundry and linen, food poverty and security, with contributions from industry and public-sector speakers.

The conference was designed to help delegates explore strategies for implementing collaborative, preventative and personalised care at a local level, consider emerging issues and learn about tools and technology showcased in an exhibition area. Attendees could also connect and network with colleagues and healthcare professionals from across the UK. The event highlighted the broad responsibilities of facilities managers, spanning buildings, maintenance, security, cleaning, catering, transport, waste and other essential services.
