**Brand Description: National Health Fellows Programme**
The National Health Fellows Programme is an innovative initiative designed to enhance leadership within Nigeria's healthcare sector. Launched by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, it addresses the urgent need for accessible, quality healthcare by recruiting young professionals to engage in vital health projects across all 774 local government areas in Nigeria.
Targeted at individuals aged 25 to 35, the program seeks candidates with a bachelor’s degree in health-related fields, IT, or social sciences, along with relevant experience in public health or community projects. Over a 12-month fellowship, participants receive comprehensive training, mentorship, and a stipend to support their commitment, allowing them to drive meaningful change in health service delivery.
The program operates under the Nigeria Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative and aims to construct new primary healthcare facilities while upgrading existing ones, ensuring improved health outcomes for communities across Nigeria. By fostering youth engagement, the National Health Fellows Programme is poised to transform Nigeria's healthcare landscape for a better future.
