About Health Futures Foundation, Inc.
Health Futures Foundations, Inc. (HFI) is a non-government organization dedicated to managing health and social development programs in disadvantaged rural areas of the Philippines. Founded in 1998 by Dr.
Jaime Z. Galvez Tan, HFI aims to achieve total health and development for the poorest communities. With a focus on access, quality, and equity in health and development, HFI works to bridge the urban-rural disparities that exist in the country.
HFI offers a range of programs and services to address the healthcare needs of marginalized Filipinos. Their flagship project, Alay sa Ginhawa at Kalusugan, focuses on strengthening the Philippine healthcare system by building barangay health stations, training local health workers, and implementing community-based health and wellness programs in rural areas. They also have projects in non-communicable disease prevention, health promotion, maternal and child health care, health systems strengthening, and more.
As a trusted partner of national and international agencies, HFI uses its extensive experience in health policy, research, and disaster management to make a lasting impact. By empowering marginalized families and local governments, HFI envisions a future where all Filipinos have access to optimum health and total development
