Launched in 2019 by the City of Helsinki and the University of Helsinki, its main objective is to facilitate the transformation of health innovation, research findings, and expertise into thriving international businesses. Furthermore, the program aims to attract new talent and companies to the vibrant city of Helsinki, Finland.

Health Incubator Helsinki is closely intertwined with Health Capital Helsinki, forming an extensive health ecosystem that spans the entire Helsinki capital region. It boasts a vast network of healthcare industry experts, entrepreneurs, and investors, providing invaluable support and guidance to program participants.

This incubator program offers selected teams individually tailored coaching and mentoring, comprehensive services ranging from test beds to business and finance support, and access to modern office and coworking facilities in Helsinki. Participants also have ample opportunities to network with investors, experienced healthcare professionals, innovative entrepreneurs, and advisors.

Importantly, the incubator services are completely free for participants, with only a minor fee required for office space. Additionally, the incubator does not take any equity in the companies.
