About National Health Law Program
National Health Law Program is a brand that consists of attorneys and policy advocates dedicated to advancing access to quality healthcare for low-income and underserved individuals. They provide their services by litigating in state and federal courts, as well as advocating for policies that support affordable healthcare. The program focuses on various areas, including Medicaid in the Courts, Essential Health Benefits, Reproductive and Sexual Health, Behavioral Health, and Civil Rights and Health Equity.
They also work on protecting and preserving Medicaid coverage, fighting for health rights for all individuals, and ensuring that abortion is recognized as an essential healthcare service. National Health Law Program collaborates with partner organizations to address existing and emerging obstacles to healthcare access. With a strong commitment to equitable healthcare, they have been defending the nation's healthcare safety net for the most vulnerable populations for over 50 years
