Health Shuttle

Health Shuttle is an Auckland-based companion driving service providing safe, friendly, door-to-door transport for people who need extra support getting around. Its community-focused service is designed to help passengers maintain independence, recover from injury or surgery, and stay connected with family, friends, and local activities.

Health Shuttle serves seniors, people with mobility challenges, ACC clients, families, and children travelling to school or after-school care. Journeys include medical appointments with GPs, hospitals, specialists, and clinics; social outings; shopping and errands; and transport to rehabilitation and recovery appointments. Drivers are Auckland Transport registered and trained in safe mobility support, offering assistance and reassurance as well as a ride.

The service works with ACC and accepts Total Mobility cards, with subsidised fares available to eligible passengers. Health Shuttle aims to make travel reliable, affordable, and flexible, arranging journeys according to passengers’ needs and schedules.
