About Healthy Eating Research
Healthy Eating Research (HER) is a prominent national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) dedicated to establishing a Culture of Health by discovering impactful strategies to enhance children’s nutrition and combat childhood obesity. The core mission of HER is to endorse and distribute research on policy, systems, and environmental strategies that foster healthy eating habits among children while advancing nutrition and health equity. By constructing a robust research foundation in areas like healthy food access, diet quality, and healthy weight, HER aims to drive positive changes and promote a diverse network of researchers and practitioners.
