Healthy Living Family Medical Center (HLFMC) is a community-focused healthcare provider established in August 2016 to offer residents a quality care option close to home. Founded and run by Wyconda Thomas, an advanced practice registered nurse with family and psychiatric mental health credentials, the center reflects her vision of bringing essential healthcare to the Mississippi Delta community connected to her family. Thomas is a native of the Delta and studied at Delta State University and The University of Southern Mississippi.

HLFMC provides appointments in person and through telehealth, making care accessible in different ways. The center’s listed services include family medical care and telehealth visits; patients can schedule either an in-person or remote appointment through the practice. Office visits are offered at its location on Ashland Avenue in Gunnison, Mississippi. Telehealth appointments are available on Mondays and Tuesdays, while Thursdays offer both in-office and telehealth visits. The center is closed on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, although hours may change.
