About Heartfile
Heartfile is a non-profit NGO think tank that focuses on policy analysis and innovative solutions to improve health systems in Pakistan and other developing countries. They strive to achieve Universal Health Coverage by analyzing health systems' policies, strengthening the evidence base, and advocating for health reform. As an independent voice, Heartfile provides analytical work and research on health issues, maintaining intellectual independence and integrity.
They also develop and deploy innovative solutions for health systems' strengthening, such as the Heartfile Health Financing project that enables financial access to healthcare for the poorest of the poor. Founded in 1998 by Dr. Sania Nishtar, Heartfile aims to act with integrity, inclusivity, and cooperation while retaining independence.
