About Heart Foundation Walking
The Heart Foundation is dedicated to a future free of heart disease, advocating for healthier lifestyles through walking. Since its inception in 1995, Heart Foundation Walking has evolved into one of Australia’s largest free walking initiatives, encouraging individuals across the nation to engage in active living for improved heart health. With over 350,000 participants and more than 1,000 committed volunteer walk organizers leading the movement, the foundation fosters a supportive community of 'red striders' who walk together to enhance their well-being.
