Caihui's artistic inspiration draws from spirituality and cosmic themes, with a strong influence from Japanese and Singaporean culture and aesthetics. She uses pastels and color pencils as her preferred mediums to express her inner world through colors and movements. As a firm believer in lifelong learning, Caihui continually improves her art skills and assists Japanese pastel art instructors in translating lesson materials from Japanese to English.
