About Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation
The Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the World War II Japanese American confinement site in Park County, Wyoming. Their mission is to honor the more than 14,000 individuals who were unjustly incarcerated at the site and educate the public about this dark chapter in American history. The foundation opened the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center in 2011, which is a world-class museum and National Historic Landmark.
